what is skype credit i thought skype was free

It's so sad to see a once great company like Skype succumb to an all-time low of pimping Microsoft search engine and trying to flip my home page during their software install. As consumers I believe we should jointly reject this increasingly anti-consumer behaviour, irrespective of the company responsible - the consequences of consumer apathy don't look good to me. Finally any installed software should have a complete uninstaller and not leave little auto-updaters and other tricks behind. As consumers I think we should ALWAYS be given a clear choice to install anything on our computers any add-ons and new software should be clearly advertised with the default choice being NOT to install. I believe that through behaviour like this, large companies like Microsoft and Lenovo, are increasing crossing the line in terms of ethics and honesty and consumer-unfriendly behaviour. This behaviour is also characteristic of Malware installation. I had to reboot my PC as the constant retrying made it unusable. I removed the click to call program AND the folder, but it kept on trying to install the add-on.

As an 'upgrade' why is Skype installing an add-on I have clearly previously rejected? Fortunately I have software that blocks such Malware installation, but even after I rejected the click to call installation, Microsoft had a process running that kept frequently retrying to install click to call. The 'Skype upgrade' attempted to fresh install click to call invisibly, no option is given for users to decline.

I had previously disabled and uninstalled Skype's 'click to call' it interferes with some of the tools I use in my work and I just don't want it anyway.
